Butterlfy Hairclip

Butterfly hair clips... I used to volunteer at a nursing home in Englishtown, NJ and I would often work with a woman there by the name of Norma who had Alzheimer and would never remember me when I came to visit/play bingo with/take care of her. She always thought that I was her granddaughter Amy and would call me that all the time. Once a month, they were taken out of the home, given a few dollars and allowed to go "shopping" at not very good places, like Kmart and the dollar store. She had bought a few hair clips and I had told her that I thought they looked very nice on her One day when I went in to work with her, she was so happy that I was there and she actually remembered my name! That day when I told her how beautiful the clips looked in her hair, she gave them to me. I insisted that she take them back because they looked so nice on her, but she wouldn’t so I still have them and they really mean a lot to me. These hair clips are plastic butterflies that are coated with paint and glitter and are attached to a spring which is in turn attached to a silver metal clip that goes in one’s hair.
